My most recent assignment was for a client in Claudy, County Derry, Northern Ireland whose parents were married in July 1962, but they never got a wedding album. Lately they found a box of 35mm slides of the big day and their son decided to restore both the images and the memories for his mother and in memory of his late father. I was privileged to work on restoring the slides and other damaged family images, such as the one above of his mother’s family, and to provide a beautiful commerative book for the client, with copies for his mother and his siblings. Some of the images were in a very poor condition, but no others have remained so there are fluctuations in the quality of reproduction. Here it is, in line with the client’s wishes.
